What is Ball Mill?
In industrial mineral processing and powder production, primary crushing equipment can only process bulk materials into medium particle size, which cannot meet the fineness requirements of beneficiation, smelting and deep processing. Working Principle & Production Flow of Ball Mill
Working Principle
The Ball Mill adopts rotary cylinder impact friction grinding principle. After the material is crushed to qualified particle size by jaw crusher and cone crusher, it is evenly sent into the rotating cylinder. Driven by the transmission system, the cylinder rotates continuously, driving the built-in high-hardness steel balls to rise and fall periodically.
Materials are continuously impacted, extruded and rubbed by steel balls to realize fine crushing and ultra-fine grinding. For wet grinding, water is added to assist grinding with no dust and high efficiency; for dry grinding, hot air or natural air circulation is adopted for powder processing. Qualified fine materials are discharged through the discharge port, and unqualified coarse materials continue to be ground in the cylinder to form a closed circulating grinding process.
