Core Working Principle

The Lime Shaft Kiln adopts vertical gravity countercurrent heat exchange calcination principle. Limestone materials are evenly fed from the top of the kiln, and slowly descend by gravity. Hot flue gas rises upward in reverse with materials to form a stable and uniform temperature field. Materials pass through three independent thermal zones in sequence to complete the entire lime calcination reaction.
Preheating Zone: High-temperature flue gas preheats and dries raw limestone to remove surface and internal moisture, improving subsequent calcination efficiency.
Calcination Zone: Constant temperature maintained at 900-1150℃, limestone undergoes complete thermal decomposition reaction to generate high-activity quicklime.
Cooling Zone: Cold air is blown in from the bottom to cool finished lime, and the heated cold air re-enters the calcination zone for combustion supporting, realizing waste heat recycling and energy saving.
